This morning, Pastor Jim Larson had the opportunity to preach at a church in the centre of Nagua. The power of God was released over the congregation. As our team prayed for those that responded to the message, around 70 people were healed of various sicknesses, and 7 people received Jesus as Saviour. All glory goes to Jesus!!
On these past Wednesday and Thursday nights we had a city-wide worship gathering and women’s conference at a church in Río San Juan. It was a packed building. We had an incredible time of worship led by the Dominican worship team that has been partnering with us. Pastor Sue Kitely from the visiting Canadian team shared life-altering messages of empowerment from the Word, and we ministered to many people who came to receive healing, to pray for love ones, and to pray for a renewed passion for the Lord.
We have been continuously suprised and awestruck at what God is doing among us. With us for one week is a team from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Last Saturday, we had an incredible pastors’ conference at the Campo Club (see photo album). The pastors and their spouses were refreshed, and the team had the opportunity to pray over them. They were so excited! On that very same day we held a city-wide women’s conference - it was amazing! Hundreds of women came to hear the visiting pastor speak life and hope into their lives. Each day we have been doing services and outreaches in the community. Monday night we had a city-wide worship gathering in Nagua. Although it was raining, the church was full. The Holy Spirit blew threw the building in a spectacular way - and we did not leave until around midnight! The visiting pastor preached a powerful message on being filled with the Holy Spirit, and the majority of people responded. We were praying, singing, dancing, and being refreshed by the Lord until late into the night! Glory to God! Tuesday we visited a community way out in the countryside. We gave food packages to 80 families and held a service at the church. We had the opportunity to pray for many people, and they were all healed!! Praise the Lord!! We poured a concrete floor this past Wednesday in a local church. We held an outreach service in the same church the previous Sunday, and among those that gave their hearts to the Lord were three boys. One of the boys was part of a gang in the area and has been coming to the church every day, helping us with the work. In each church we attend, the place is shaken by the joy, freedom, and excitement of the Lord through the preaching of the Word, worship, and prayer. Please continue to pray for us as God has been doing far beyond what we could ever ask or even think!
