An enthusiastic, hardworking group of teens from Wisconsin has impacted the community of Frenito and Helechal in a mighty way. We had the privilege of being an instrumental part of completing the vision that God gave to Pastor Carlos of Frenito and Pastor Donato of Helechal. It has been amazing. Everyday this group showed up to devout their time and energy to finishing Pastor Carlos’ church. They helped finish the walls, floor and roof of the church. They gave of themselves in a very selfless way and touched the hearts of many in the community. Over a couple of days they visited the houses in the community and shared the good news of Jesus Christ’s love for us, they prayed for each household and witnessed the Lord’s hand of salvation and healing move amongst them. They held an outreach during the evening where they shared two powerful dramas that ministered to the hearts of the people. One exemplified how the things of this world can take us away from our relationship with Jesus Christ. The drama made it clear how addictions to things of this world can separate us from our Savior and that God has a better plan through Jesus Christ. We watched as the young man in the drama was set free and reunited with Jesus. The other drama was to the song “For God so loved the world” and it was amazing to see a drama enacted to the verse John 3:16. It reminded all of us what this life is all about. We are thankful for this group of young people who came to serve their Savior, Jesus Christ.
