This past week, EDM screened the movie “Facing the Giants” in the community of Frenito.  Although it was a wet and rainy night, the church was packed out, and there was a great response at the end of the movie for those who needed prayer.  We returned this past Sunday night as a follow up, and spoke on “Facing your Giants”.  Using the well known story of David and Goliath, we shared on some key lessons from David’s encounter with Goliath that we can use today to defeat the spiritual giants we face.  At the end, every person in the church stood for prayer asking God for help to win the victory over the many types of giants they were facing in their daily lives.  We finished with a time of celebration believing God for continued victory over the giants we are facing and will face in the near future.
