This page details some key projects that we are praying about and plan to do as the Lord provides. If you are interested in sending a team or helping out in any way to fulfill the visions of these Dominican pastors, please contact us. God bless you!
Project: Iglesia de Dios “Llama del Espíritu“ El Frenito
(COMPLETED-AUGUST, 2008)

This church is located in a neighbourhood on the edge of Nagua called Frenito. Pastor Carlos had approached us some time ago, asking for our prayers in their search for a piece of land to build a new church building. The location where they were meeting was very expensive to rent and also distant from the community they were working in. Through a rapid succession of miracles, God provided the land for Pastor Carlos, and the materials to build the church walls up to the tops of the windows. Through the help of some teams and God’s provision, we were able to put a roof on the church, pour the floor, do the concrete smooth coating, purchase doors and windows, and paint the church.
Project: Iglesia Evangelica Metodista Libre “Puerto Rico a Pie”
(COMPLETED-AUGUST, 2008)

Many months ago, Pastor Jaime Lopez walked us through an area at the front of his church, consisting of three bare block walls and an uneven, rocky ground. His vision was to enlarge the church building at the front so that he, along with the congregation, can better meet the needs of their community. The new extension has now been completed - praise the Lord! It looks beautiful! As one of the only evangelical churches in his town, called Puerto Rico a Pie (Puerto Rico by Foot), he has a lot of work ahead of him. He and his wife are ministering to the poor children of the town, which need spiritual guidance and direction. This expansion has prepared the church for the growth he envisions as he reaches out to his fellow countrymen and their children with the message of Jesus.
Iglesia Evangelica Metodista Libre “Sabaneta”
(COMPLETED-AUGUST, 2008)

Nestled in the slightly hilly countryside to the West of Nagua, lies a beautiful little community called Sabaneta. There was formerly no evangelical church in this town, but now, through God’s call on Pastor Nicolas, the light of the glorious gospel of Christ is shining on this village. They used to meet for packed, hot, and humid, but powerful Holy Spirit-filled meetings in a deteriorating little house. Pastor Nicolas obtained a plot of land, and construction on a church building progressed rapidly. The new building would better facilitate meetings with the many people who are coming to Christ. The building is now complete, thanks to God’s great and miraculous provision through groups and supporters!
